PUC Update

Governor Kate Brown signed Executive Order 20-12 -- Stay Home, Save Lives. Although restrictions have lifted, the Oregon Public Utility Commission (PUC) is continuing to work remotely currently. Learn about the PUC's COVID-19 response and our remote work protocols, which we continue to utilize post-COVID. 

The PUC has conducted an investigation into the impacts of COVID-19 on utility customers, which explored recovery from the pandemic. View the stipulated agreements and final reports for additional information.

Utilities -- Offering Energy Assistance

Having trouble paying your utility bills? Do you bills have a growing balance? There may be help for you! Please don't let your bills grow beyond your ability to manage them. Contact your utility service provider directly to find out what programs may be available to you.

Many utility companies are offering benefits to customers, such as free services, suspending service disconnections, and waiving late fees to support Oregonians impacted by this public health crisis. Learn more about Energy Assistance available to you.

Upcoming PUC Events

The PUC is continuing to conduct all scheduled events by phone, webinar, or video conference until further notice. This includes public meetings, staff workshops, settlement conferences, as well as other scheduled events. The live streaming option is not available at this time.
 

Regular Public Meetings – 

  • Off-site participation is available by phone and/or Zoom (depending on the meeting) – Check the agenda for the Zoom link and/or call-in information. View agendas on the Upcoming Events page. Events, Workshops, Meetings with Staff –
